Mukka Proteins Q3 net profit down 44.07% at Rs 9.05 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 9.05 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2023 as compared to Rs 16.18 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 44.07 per cent.
Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 32.44 per cent at Rs 468.31 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 353.59 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During October-December quarter, operating expenses increased by 39.41 per cent to Rs 472.04 crore from Rs 338.61 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 58.87 per cent at Rs 8.42 crore versus (Dec'22 Rs 5.30 crore).
Operating Profit slipped by 43.41 per cent to Rs 11.60 crore as against Rs 20.50 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 57.24 per cent in December quarter.
Interest grew by 38.76 per cent y-o-y to Rs 5.37 crore, while Taxation decreased by 11.32 per cent at Rs 4.15 crore (Dec'22 Rs 4.68 crore).
